Statement by the CEO 

To challenge the conventional European telecom industry wisdom by going back to the original frequency band of the first generation mobile telephone systems - when most other mobile operators are looking at continuously higher frequency bands – and to combine this with the North-American 3G technology CDMA2000 – when GSM, including its evolutions, and UMTS are viewed as the “only alternatives” – may not appear to be the most natural way to go for an entrepreneurial start-up on the European telecom arena.

Our vision is founded on the strong belief that the last major mobile communications niche that needs to be better served is defined by the user segments that require access to advanced mobile telecommunication services, with truly nationwide coverage, at a reasonable cost. By combining the inherent radio wave propagation capabilities of the low frequency bands, defined by the laws of physics, with state of the art mobile technology, we will be able to deliver truly unique services to these market segments at a fraction of the cost of alternative system solutions.
